The Practice

We started at Crook Log Bexleyheath in 1984, the practice was expanded in 1990 to include Number 14. We became a completely private practice in 2007 and decided small was beautiful and so we now practice exclusively at Thanet Road.

Dr Nicola Brown BDS (London) MJDF RCS (Eng)

Nicola qualified at the Kings Dental Institute of the University of London in 2010.
Nicola is passionate about further learning and clinical development and has been awarded The Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) by The Royal College of Surgeons of England. Clinically, Nicola enjoys the variety that general practice provides.
Nicola has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, short term orthodontics and is a certified Inman Aligner provider and an Invisalign dentist.
Invisalign can straighten teeth using a series of nearly invisible aligners that are custom-made to your teeth for comfort. As you replace each aligner every week, your teeth will move gradually towards the final projected position as prescribed, so you end up with the straight new smile that you were hoping for.
Outside of work Nicola enjoys horse riding and was chairwoman of Dartford and District riding club for the past five years, she enjoys competing in dressage.

Dr Robin Ratcliffe BSc BDS MSc PgDip Dent Impl

Robin Ratcliffe qualified the London Hospital Dental Institute in 2003
Robin Ratcliffe qualified as a dentist with distinction from the London Hospital Dental Institute in 2003 with a portion of his education and research undertaken at Helsinki University Dental Institute Finland. He completed his periodontology postgraduate training in 2007 with distinction. He holds a Diploma in Dental Implantology awarded by Warwick University. Robin has been a clinical teacher at Guy’s Dental Hospital since 2008 and also works in private practice accepting referrals from General Dental Practitioners.
Robin provides a full range of periodontal and implant dentistry, from the non-surgical and surgical management of gum disease to advanced bone and gum regeneration treatments and comprehensive planning for patients whose mouths have been severely damaged and require full rehabilitation.
In addition Robin undertakes aesthetic gingival recontouring and gum grafting (mucogingival surgery) around natural teeth and implants. His latest area of development is research into the benefits of lasers in periodontal therapy.
